The Highland Food & Drink Club was created by Scottish entrepreneur and foodie John Murray to bring you the very best local food and drink from Scotland’s Highlands and Islands.

From wild mountains to sparkling salmon rivers, craggy island coastlines, peat-rich moorlands and distant sandy shores, every Highland flavour tells its own unique story of people, place and landscape.

We share the stories as well as the flavours, guiding you on a true voyage of culinary adventure. Experience the rich taste of Highland Scotland, whilst discovering and supporting small, independent food and drink producers throughout the Highlands and Islands.

We’re a Community Interest Company and Social Enterprise. We reinvest in young talent development within Highland communities, so that we can help ensure a bright and sustainable future for small food and drink producers throughout the region.

John founded the Highland Food & Drink Club with one simple goal: to celebrate the great food and drink produced in Scotland’s Highlands and Islands by sharing it with food and drink lovers all over the UK.

With 30 years’ professional experience in the region’s food and drink industry behind him – John is the founder of a Scottish chain of convenience stores and served on the Scottish Grocer’s Federation executive committee – John has expert knowledge of food and drink in the Highlands.

From farm to fork, he is passionate about supporting the people and small businesses who produce, supply and prepare quality food and drink throughout the Highlands and Islands.
