Isle of Skye Sea Salt Company is the longest established Scottish sea salt producer established in 2011. A multi-award-winning producer of 100% Scottish, pure, unrefined sea salt crystals. Great provenance and a very eco-friendly, seasonal solar evaporation process make our sea salt a unique product. It is the only raw, unrefined sea salt made in Scotland, the process ensuring that all the minerals contained in the sea around Skye are retained in the salt. This gives a distinct, robust flavour but with a ‘sweet’ finish unlike any other sea salt in the UK market. It is a true gourmet sea salt that works really well in savoury and sweet food and is a key ingredient for many chefs and food lovers. We sell two retail packs - 150g and 75g - packed in beautifully designed card tubs which are both reusable and recyclable. We also supply restaurants and other catering outlets and other food producers with 500g and 1kg resealable pouches, and 4kg tubs. The Wee Scottish Treat Company is a small business that specialises in traditional, handmade and hand packaged luxury Scottish tablet. I am a sole trader based in the Highlands of Scotland on a hill farm, footsteps from Glen Affric, 14 miles from the world famous Loch Ness.
My products are hand made in the farmhouse kitchen with only Scottish ingredients and hand packaged with the finest branded navy blue and gold ribbon. Wee Scottish Treat Co was established in 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Due to a lifelong passion for baking, I decided to start up my own business selling my handmade tablet after making tablet for family and friends for quite some time. We sell our beautiful tablet gift bags in 120g bags for retail, we also supply 60g bags perfect for wedding favours, events, welcome packs, holiday lets and so much more. The Maclean family Bakery is located in Forres, where they produce a full range of award winning products. Their BRC accredited production site allows them to supply customers both locally and internationally.
Their award winning Rolls and savoury products are their best sellers. Whilst their All Butter Shortbread is enjoyed around the globe.
Earlier this year Macleans opened a Free From Production facility in Forres to increase and compliment their range.
